SUMMER CAMPS

Bring your summer camp group on a journey through space.

Each summer, we welcome day camps, recreation centres, childcare programs, and community groups for immersive, two-hour astronomy experiences designed to spark curiosity and inspire awe.

Our guided camp visits are engaging, interactive, and tailored to your group’s age and interests, all set at a national historic site of Canadian astronomy.

  • Each two-hour visit includes:

    • A live planetarium show to see the stars and constellations, even during the day

    • A guided tour of the historic Observatory

    • An age-appropriate engaging activity in our auditorium

    • Time to explore the hands-on gallery exhibits

    • A themed craft to take home

    All activities are led by our knowledgeable staff and adapted to suit the age of your group.

    • Cost: $10.00 per child

    • You can pay on the day of your tour, or request an invoice to be paid afterward.

    • Leaders are included in the program fee

    • Group size: Up to 25 participants'

    • Larger groups may be accommodated with at least one week’s advance booking, please see booking form

    • Availability: Programs are typically scheduled weekday mornings and afternoons during the summer, with additional times available.

Booking Your Visit

Bookings are available through our online calendar. When reserving your date, you’ll be asked to provide information about:

  • Group size

  • Age range

  • Organization name

  • Preferred session time

  • Any accessibility needs

Early booking is recommended, as summer dates fill quickly.
